Terms

These are the plain-English terms for using this website and booking with The Mechanics Glasgow. If anything here is unclear, call us on 0141 648 5500.

Who we are

The Mechanics (Glasgow) Ltd (company number SC765909), trading as The Mechanics Glasgow, Units A & H, Meadowside Street, Renfrew PA4 8SR. Email: mechanics.glasgow@gmail.com.

Booking an MOT

The MOT test is £40. We test vehicles in Class 4 only (cars and light vans). An online booking holds your slot and we get in touch to confirm it, so it isn't final until we do. If your vehicle isn't Class 4, or you're not sure, call us before you book.

Repairs and servicing

We show you the problem on a video health check and give you the price in writing. We don't carry out any repair until you've said yes to it.

Changing or cancelling

If you need to change or cancel a booking, call or message us as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.

Using this website

The information on this site is for general guidance. Opening hours, availability and prices can change; where the site and a phone call disagree, the call is right. Please don't misuse the booking and enquiry forms, for example by submitting false details.
