Van repairs: common questions
Do you MOT vans?
Yes — light vans in Class 4 (up to 3,000kg design gross weight) are tested in our own MOT centre. Larger vans from 3,000 to 3,500kg are Class 7, which we don't test.
Can you service my van without affecting the warranty?
Yes. UK competition rules (the motor vehicle block exemption) let you have a van serviced by an independent garage without affecting the manufacturer warranty, as long as the work follows the manufacturer's schedule and uses parts of matching quality.
What van work do you do?
Servicing, diagnostics, brakes, suspension, clutches and tyres on light commercials, with the same video health check we do on cars.
